BORGHESE GALLERY

The Borghese Gallery is the first private art collection open to the public. This collection is one of the most important of the World. During the tour you'll see the most beautiful and amazing sculptures of Gian Lorenzo Bernini, one of the most important sculptor of the Roman Baroque. Among his sculptures are theDavid, Pluto and Proserpina and the famous group of Apollo and Daphne.

You'll also see Roman sculptures and mosaics and the sculpture of Paulina Borghese, one of the most famous creations of the Italian sculptor Antonio Canova.

Our guide will also show you paintings of the most important and famous Italian painters of the Renaissance like Raffaello, Tiziano, Giovanni Bellini, Correggio and paintings of Caravaggio master of the Chiaroscuro Technique.

The entrance price may be increased when there is an exhibition in the gallery.
